About Us

The Utah Baby Guide was started as a way to provide free information to new and expecting in an attractive way. It also helps businesses have a way to market their products and services to new and expecting parents in Utah.

The Utah Baby Guide staff consists of highly-trained professional mommies. We thought you might like to know more about each of our backgrounds, so here is a short bio for each Utah Baby Guide contributor.

Jessica Taufer
Editorial Director
Jessica founded the Utah Baby Fair in 2006 as a way for new and expecting parents to prepare for baby in one day. New parents loved the information available at the Fair, so she started the Utah Baby Guide so that parents could get free information in between fairs. She is the mother to one daughter, and loves to talk about her new mom experiences. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in political science. In her spare time, she loves to travel, ice skate, shop, work on craft projects, and spend time with her family.
Angie Andrews
Photographer and Graphic Designer
Angie has worked as a graphic designer for the past 12 years, but has recently quit her full time job to become a stay at home mom and photographer. She has a Bachelor of Fine art with an emphasis in Photography from University of Utah. She is the mom to two daughters. She enjoys working with children and capturing their personality through her work in photography. She is the owner of Sweet Memory Garden.
Kristen Butikofer

Kristen has a lot of experience working with design layout programs and loves the opportunity to be able to work from home. She has a degree in journalism and political science from Brigham Young University. She is the mom to one daughter. She enjoys shopping, going for a drive up the canyon, jewelry making, and spending time with her family.
Juliana Montgomery
Page Layout Specialist/Writer
Juliana is a dedicated stay-at-home Mom, but has diverse interests. She has a Bachelor degree in Communications from Brigham Young University, has taught computer science, sold desktop publishing products at book stores, and been the head of a movie production business. She loves to laugh at life on her blog and play board games with her friends to stay sane while caring for her kindergartener and twin toddlers.
Kendra Seeley

Kendra loves staying at home with her two children and writing in her blog. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, sewing, and reading. She is also the owner of I Hemstitch, a hemstitching baby blanket business. She loves Utah and is excited to report on local events, Utah babies, and bring fellow Utah moms helpful information.
