Advertise in the Utah Baby Guide magazine and get seen by new and expecting parents in Utah. Based on your company's budget, you can choose to purchase a full or half page ad, submit a product for editorial review, and/or give away a prize in our monthly email newsletter.

Utah Baby Guide

The Utah Baby Guide magazine is a free magazine for new and expecting parents. Each issue of the monthly magazine is available for free in the form of a .pdf download. We have articles in each issue specifically for pregnancy, newborns, and infants. Each monthly issue will be available for the public to download starting on the first day of each month. Each issue will remain on the website for at least one year so that people can easily view past issues.

The Utah Baby Guide magazine is gaining momentum. The readership of the June 2008 issue was over 1,600 (just during the month of June).

Buying Advertising Space

• The artwork size for a full page advertisement is 8.5" x 11." The artwork size for a half page advertisement is either 8.5" x 5.5" or 4.25" x 11." Email your artwork to j.taufer@utahbabyguide.com
• The artwork and payment for the ad is generally due one week before the issue date.
• We will do our best to place your ad in a relevant section of the magazine.
• The number of advertisement pages will never be greater than the number of non-advertisement pages
• If you are concerned that there might be too many companies advertising from your industry, feel free to contact us and we will let you know who is currently signed up to advertise in the particular issue.
• Space is limited. Please send your artwork and payment as soon as possible to reserve your advertising spot.
• Advertising rates are subject to change.
• You are responsible for not submiting artwork that violates copyright laws.
• We can design the artwork for your advertisement. Our design team will take pictures and text from your webpage to design your artwork, or you can email j.taufer@utahbabyguide.com with specific pictures and text. We will email you a proof that we can edit based on your preferences. Just choose the "advertisement and design" option when you pay so that we will know you want us to design your advertisement for you.

• The magazine will reach a specific market: new and expecting parents in Utah.
• Companies that purchase ad space in the magazine can also market their special prices and discounts on our PROMOTIONS webpage for added publicity.
• Each issue will be available for people to download for free for a duration of at least one year starting from the issue date for continued exposure.
• Our company is environmentally friendly. We don't pollute the environment with a printed magazine every month.

Submit a Product for Editorial Review

• Each issue will have a section featuring an editorial review of pregnancy, baby, or new parent related products.
• Companies that wish to have the Utah Baby Guide review a product should submit a product for us to test.
• If we like the product, we will include the product in the magazine, which will include the product's picture, description, purchase location, and retail price.

Give Away a Prize

• Companies can give away a prize in our monthly email newsletter.
• This means that your company will get added publicity because people will see your company name and prize in the email newsletter.
• Each month, we will give away the prize by announcing it in our monthly email newsletter. People who want to win a prize will have instructions to email prize@utahbabyguide.com. Each prize will be assigned a specific numbered email reply. For example, the ninth person to email us would win prize A and the tenth person to email us would win prize B. Or, if the prize is worth at least $100, the sponsoring company can choose the terms of the prize winner: essay contest, cutest baby contest, etc.
• Each prize should be worth at least $20.00.
• The prize should be something that new or expecting parents would like to have for themselves or their baby.
• If you would like to give away a prize, please email us with the following information: company name, contact name, product description, website address, retail value of prize, the number of products you will be giving away, and how the winner should get the prize from you.
• We will include a link to the company's website in the email newsletter.
• The March Newsletter was sponsored by Anna Palmer with Close to my Heart, the prize was a $20.00 gift certificate.
• The April Newsletter was sponsored by Babinski's, there were two prizes given away- one boy prize and one girl prize.
• The May Newsletter was sponsored by Naturepedic, the prize was an organic waterproof crib size mattress pad.
• The June Newsletter was sponsored by HugaMonkey Baby Slings, who gave two $25 gift codes given away, and by Baby Rock Apparel, who gave away two onesies or tees.
• The July Newsletter was sponsored by At Home Pampering, who gave a free spa manicure that comes with the works, and by Teach Your Child To Swim, who gave away a book.
